When need to do "calibration" during the fuel sensor installation?
In the vehicle fuel monitoring field, the "calibration" is a word mentioned frequently. Sometimes, it confused the new users because it is the same word but used in different situations. Situation 1: The capacitive fuel sensor be cut off Capacitive fuel sensor CLS2 (AS10) is designed for different fuel tank types. Default is 70cm tube length, 0-5V signal output. But it is cuttable. If you cut off the fuel sensor, must do the "calibration" with the calibrator. This calibration...

How to test capacitive fuel sensor AS10 in the office
The users can test the fuel sensor in the office before installation. Note: don't use the water to test. The water is conducting medium, may damage the fuel sensor. Suggest use diesel or gasoline. How the fuel sensor works? The fuel sensor detects the fuel level height and convert the height value to voltage, then output this voltage to GPS tracker. Voltage range is 0-5V. For regular shape fuel tank: 0V=Empty 2.5V=50% full 5V=Full Note: In the tracking platform, 0-5V is converted...

Why don't suggest ultrasonic fuel sensor
“Ultrasonic fuel sensor or traditional capacitive fuel sensor?” This is a common question from the clients who need fuel monitoring solution. Ultrasonic fuel sensor is a relative new technology product. The key advantage is the new installation way, avoid to drill the hole on the fuel tank. However, we still don’t suggest use the ultrasonic fuel sensor. Our suggestion is not from the book, is from the practice after several years observations. The ultrasonic fuel sensor has some...
